Michael S. Paquette
Executive Vice President, Finance
Mr. Paquette has served as Executive Vice President, Finance of Employers Holdings, Inc. since March 2025. Prior to that, he was Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer from January 2017 to March 2025. For all of the subsidiary companies, he had also served as Treasurer and as a director until March 2025. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Illinois Insurance Guaranty Fund since June 2019. Mr. Paquette previously served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer of Montpelier Re Holdings Ltd. from 2008 to 2015 and Chief Financial Officer of Blue Capital Reinsurance Holdings Ltd. from its inception in 2012 to 2015. Mr. Paquette had also previously spent 18 years with White Mountains Insurance Group, Ltd. in various capacities, including Senior Vice President, Controller, and 4 years with KPMG LLP as an auditor. Mr. Paquette holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Vermont and is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Certified Financial Manager, and Chartered Global Management Accountant.
